Yes. All core features are free: encrypted messaging, groups, rooms, Circles, and tags. There's no time limit on the free plan. Premium gives extra features like Digital Locker and more storage.

Groups are for tasks that need solving (the weekend trip, the party, the project). They have smart tools for coordination and planning. Rooms are permanent — they're for communities that belong together (your friends, the board, the team). You can come and go without pressure.

Circles is ViftChat's social feed. You can share photos, videos, and text with your contacts — but unlike social media, you choose exactly who sees each post via tags. No algorithms. No strangers.

Tags are a way to organize your contacts. You can create tags like Family, Work, Close friends, or Football team. When you post to Circles or use contextual profiles, tags determine who sees what. Tags are 100% private — nobody can see what you've tagged them as.

Yes. All messages in ViftChat are end-to-end encrypted using the Signal Protocol. This means your messages are encrypted on your phone and can only be read by the receiver. No intermediary — including ViftChat — can read them.

All data is hosted on servers in the EU. Your data never leaves Europe. We are a Danish company and follow GDPR and European law.

No. Never. We don't sell data to third parties, advertisers, or anyone. Our business model is Premium subscriptions — not your data.

No. Your messages are end-to-end encrypted. This means even we cannot read them. The server stores only encrypted data it cannot interpret.

No. ViftChat has no ads and never will. We make money from Premium subscriptions, not from your attention.

Yes. You can delete your account at any time. All your data is removed completely from our servers. It's your right under GDPR, and we make it easy.

Yes. No commitment period. You keep Premium features until your current period expires.

You keep Premium until your current billing period expires. Then you automatically switch to the free plan. Your messages and contacts remain — you only lose access to Premium features.

ViftChat is available for iPhone (iOS 16+) and Android (Android 10+). A desktop version is on the way.

Not yet. ViftChat is currently available as a mobile app only. A web and desktop version is planned for the future.

You log in with your phone number via a one-time code (SMS). No password to remember or forget.

In the first version, ViftChat supports one device per account. Multi-device support is in development.

A contextual profile lets you show different information to different contacts. You can create a work profile with title and company name, and a friends profile with a different picture and a fun bio. The right people see the right profile — automatically, based on tags.
